1993 Ocean Software
Platform: Commodore Amiga
A second Addams Family game from Ocean Software that would be based on the cartoon series that had just been created.
News of this development was reported very briefly in the news pages of The One magazine (issue 48), but under the name of The Addams Family 2.
Nothing more was heard of the title, at least on the Amiga. The game would see release eventually for Nintendo platforms such as the NES, SNES and Game Boy.
You’ll note the exclusivity to Nintendo, which could be the reason why any Amiga development was cancelled. There may have even been plans for SEGA editions, canned for the same reason – hopefully over time we’ll establish more details.
We’re not sure if an Amiga version was ever started, so if you know anything more about any development – please let us know.
