Just watched this and read the comments here. If you were nervous Frank, it didn’t come across at all. And what a fascinating subject to explore. So much interesting information and many stories to share. Much appreciated.
Thanks Peter for the kind words – glad you enjoyed it :)
I went to school in Canterbury in the late 80’s/early 90’s and was always in Computerworld after school, mostly because I had time to kill after missing my bus. Used to pay to play on the Amiga 500’s they had set up in the shop. Would love to see any interior photos if any exist.
Being a Speccy +2 ownder at the time, playing the Amiga blew my mind. I soon ensed up buying one from the shop.
Hi Andrew, I do have some photos of when the shop first opened and was being set up, thanks to my friend Darren Nevell, who used to work in the shop with Jason. I’ll send you an email shortly.
excellent talk Frank, sorry i couldn’t make to be there live! keep up the good work. and goood luck on the second book.
Thanks Marco and no worries! And thank you! Getting there slowly! :)
Well done Frank – saw this pop up on my YouTube recommended list last night and I watched it immediately. I thought you did excellently – appearing not at all nervous – and it was a nice touch to segment the talk with the Q&A. Here’s to the next 25 years!
Thanks Gaz! Glad it all came across OK – I was definitely very nervous behind the scenes :)
I’ve loved this site for a number of years and to see this video is just outstanding! You are a great speaker and I was absorbed in the content! May you continue to search and preserve for many, many years!
Thanks for the kind words Stooart and for all your support over the years!
What a fantastic interview, well done!
Thanks Codetapper – was very nervous and messed a few bits up (apparently Rob is not a Geordie – Chris Abbot will be ashamed! ;) ). So glad to hear it was all ok!
