An Italian title which was released, but is currently missing and yet to be preserved. Can you help us and ready64.org to recover it?
MegaGame 64 was a great looking space strategy game. It was featured within a regular column where readers were invited to contribute towards building the game. It didn’t really work though, and developer Marco Pesce would end up taking the bulk of the work to try and finish things.
Little is known about the game overall, but it was actually finished and distributed via disk and also for free on MC-Link to download. However, it is still at large – and sadly Marco no longer has anything of the game today. There are more details via this great interview with Marco.
When you look at the screenshots, some look very much like something created in Deluxe Paint on the Amiga. This was because that later on, the article continued with what seemed to be an Amiga version being produced. This was just to keep the article going, and with no real intention of producing a proper Amiga release.
