Our next entry comes thanks to Martin/Stadium 64 – who spotted a mention in Datormagazin about a title called Racer.
The game was to be released from Golden Games, based in Vällingby outside Stockholm. The company promised to release three new C64 titles in total. Attempts by the magazine to get in touch with the company would fail, as they had no telephone, the company wasn’t registered in the company register and they weren’t answering letters.
Martin wondered if it was perhaps an April Fools, as it was mentioned in an April edition – though nothing was revealed in later issues. What happened to the game, and were there others?
